Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the PGx Clinical Decision Support (PGx-CDS) mobile application can request deletion of their account and associated data. This process is provided in accordance with Google Play requirements and applicable institutional policies.

Requesting Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account, please send an email from the same institutional email address used to register and access the application.

• Suggested Subject: PGx-CDS – Account Deletion Request

Please include:

• Your registered email address.
• A request to permanently delete your account.
• Any additional information requested for identity verification.

To protect user privacy and security, account ownership will be verified before processing the request.

What Will Be Deleted

Upon successful verification, the following information will be permanently deleted or anonymized, where applicable:

• User account and authentication information associated with the registered email address.
• User profile information maintained within the application.
• Usage information associated with the user account, including application interaction history and drug search history, unless retention is required under applicable law or institutional policy.

Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained only where required for legitimate operational, legal, or regulatory purposes, including:

• Aggregated or anonymized information that cannot reasonably identify an individual user.
• Security logs, audit records, and other information required to comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, or AIIMS Bhopal institutional policies.

Any retained information will not be used for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes.

Processing Time

Verified account deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, and institutional retention requirements.
