About the Project

The Pharmacogenomic Clinical Decision Support (PGx-CDS) System is a software platform developed for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal to support precision medicine through pharmacogenomic-guided clinical decision support.

The application enables healthcare professionals to evaluate potential gene–drug interactions and receive evidence-linked prescribing recommendations based on established pharmacogenomic knowledge resources. The system has been designed to assist clinicians in interpreting pharmacogenomic information during routine clinical practice while supporting standardized and informed therapeutic decision-making.

The platform comprises a clinician-facing mobile application, an administrative knowledge management portal, and a rule-based clinical decision support engine that together facilitate structured pharmacogenomic recommendation workflows.
